I realized I have not posted a Journal entry since before kastsucon 2015! Wow I so sorry guys that i tend to neglect my Deviant Art account.
I have been posting photos from some of my sets here and there, but If you want to see more of my work, follow my facebook or instagram accounts!
They are both way more active than here, and its all because of the convenience of being able to post from my cellphone!

The only way to start off this journal is to come right out and say it.

Katsucon was the best Convention experience I have ever had. 

From beginning to end, there was not one bad moment had. So many memories were made with friends new and old. I got to meet so many talented cosplayers that I truly look up to, as well I got to shoot in the famous Gazebo!!!!
The Costumes I brought with me was my Esdeath cosplay as well as my newly completed Version 3.0 of my Gurren Lagann Armored Yoko. I had great feed back on both costumes. Some saying I truly brought Esdeath to life, others really appreciated the design of my Yoko armor. Thinking back on my experience at Katsu brings a smile to my face. This has been a dream convention of mine to attend and it lived up and surpassed my expectations.

I return to toronto, inspired and excited to get crafting. Big plans for Anime North. I really want to push myself again and see if i can accomplish what may be impossible with the skill level I currently have. Its going to be a learning experience and absolutely challenging, but i feel like im ready to take on the world!

Hey guys! 2014 was an amazing year for me with my cosplay. I have only been doing shoots for my costumes since January 2014, and I already have seen a huge amount of progress in my modeling and my crafting. I was able to push myself to make more costumes then ever before this year, try new techniques, and really test my skills all around.  I have always loved making costumes to just walk around cons in, but it's amazing having photos  to really showcase your work to its fullest potential that cellphone photos from attendees can't give you.
I have also had the chance to make so many amazing new friends this year. I am normally very shy (my friends don't believe me) when it comes to talking to new people, espechally ones I look up to with their craftsmanship. I am so proud of myself for sparking that first conversation with other cosplayers, that I can now call my close friends.
Thank you to all those who support my work. You guys really help push myself go above and beyond what I think I can accomplish. All the kind words and love you share with me makes any hard times feel like nothing.
